It is hard to believe that Fall is already here.  Even more disturbing is the fact that I am not traveling the beautiful state of Wyoming right now.  To remind myself what I am missing and to reminisce, I looked through some images from last Fall.

After wandering Yellowstone for a few days, I worked my way down to the majestic Tetons.  I was not disappointed.  Schwabacher Landing was worth the stop, even though it was crowded with photographers vying for prime real estate to plant their tripods and acting like children.  The old barns were on my to-do list.

Oxbow Bend was spectacular.  After taking the traditional photos of the Snake River in the foreground and Mt. Moran in the background, I moved to the west side of the river bend and stand of Aspen.  Looking east through the trees, with the river behind them offers this different perspective.  The color was at its peak and no other photographers were within sight.

If I would have been there at the same time this year, I would have been standing in snow.
